Aftercare Advice

Aromatherapy can be continued at home by using a specific bath blend or in an aromatherapy oil burner.

Please ask for advice.

Take life easy for the next 24 hours, as you may feel tired.

The circulation is busy eliminating toxins and it uses energy. It is possible that you may have a headache, diarrhea or nausea. This will pass and you should feel better after a few days.

Avoid applying anything else to the skin.

- body lotions, bathing or showering etx. until next day. This will allow the oils to thoroughly penetrate your skin.

In the unlikely event of skin irritation

wash the area immediately with warm water.

After the treatment the excretory system is stimulated

and you may find that yo need to go tothe toilet more frequently. Lost liquid will need to be replaced soyou should drink plenty of mineral water and/or herbal teas or fruit juice.

Avoid tea and cofee, as these are diuretics.

It is wise to avoid direct sunlight and sun beds for 24 hours.

Certain essential oils can cause dermal irritation when exposed to sunlight. You will be advised if this is the case.

Take extra care when driving home

as reflex action become slower due to your relaxed state.
